ounds like a good idea, right?

Meah... I tried to like it as me and the rest of the world love a buddy comedy... when it works that is!

The problem is that when the chemistry isn't there and the humour is forced it's dire... and that's what Ghosted is.

Two unlikely 'Ghostbusters' are adopted by the government agency 'Bureau Underground' and are forced to team up to save the planet. One is white and one is black... one is big and one is little... both are childish and unlike-able.

Sounds like a good idea, right? Well, it is a good idea, but while the energy level is high and there's a good deal of frantic physical activity the quality of the writing is low.

It's two silly men doing lots of silly things and the hope here is that the special effects will pick up the slack.

Just watched the first episode and I gotta say it's pretty entertaining, nothing great but does not try to. It's like a funny version on X-Flies, the pairing of Craig Robinson and Adam Scott is what makes the show fun, they're an odd couple and have great comic chemistry, the two start in the dreadfully unfunny Hot Tub Time Machine 2(2015).

The effects are good on a T.V. budget. Everybody here plays it perfectly straight next to the comedy of Robinson and Scott. The show has a Ghostbusters and Men in Black like feel to it, I hope it goes for 3 or 4 seasons, the show never takes itself too seriously, and that is the enjoyment of it.

I like Adam Scott & Craig Anderson. Enough to overlook most of the flaws this show has.

But, it doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. It's just plain fun, nothing more. The paranormal stuff is kinda OK, but the show could be about anything and it would still work with those two.

Imagine a show about two average (but funny) guys gardening, shooting hoops, knitting camping or whatever. It would still be funny with Craig and Adam. The producers could've let them sit on a couple of toilet seats in booths next to each other and it would still work.
